ATTENTION:
My dad started this business in 2003 and we took it over in 2015. Since we have taken it over, we quadrupled in size! We still always did our best to provide great service and fair prices. We know most all of our customers by name! We really have loved doing this.
Thing’s unfortunately changed when Covid hit. People just became different. They had struggles paying which put more stress on us. We were also growing. We had the opportunity to build a new house and shop next to Brian’s parents house on family land. We were told no, were constantly harassed (and sadly still are), had lots of Blade articles written about us, and took it to court because how the township ran their meeting was not right and after almost 2 years lost!
We got bad mouthed a lot by family, customers, and people who didn’t know us. It took a huge toll on both of us. We also had 2 accidents in 6 months where our guys were rear ended. If our guys wouldn’t have been paying attention and jumped out of the way, they could have been killed. There was also another accident that resulted in a lady being seriously injured and Brian having a slew of issues. The lady pulled out in front of Brian and there was nothing he could do. That is not something you want to have to worry about. We currently have 2 totaled trucks and fighting with the insurance companies.
We have put off so many things, because this isn’t a business where you can just shut down.
With that said, we have decided to merge our business with Steven’s Disposal. They have became friends of ours and also great mentors. There will definitely be some changes as far as where the office is located. It will be moved to their shop, so I can focus on our girls. Brian will still be running routes. You will still get the same great service at the same price. We just ask that you give them a fair chance to prove to you why they have been in business for so long! There will be some adjustments, but in the end it will be great!
Again, we have loved doing this and love our customers and especially our employees. We are just at a point where we have to step back just a bit and focus on our family. By doing this merger, we can actually have a little more free time. Brian and I just can’t do everything anymore. We hope you will all understand!
Keep putting your garbage out as normal. If you are on autopay, you will need to sign back up once you get your bill. If you paid ahead, you are still good to go! If you go thru your banks bill pay, please have them change where the checks are going to the following address…
